New: April 2012: The CH-7B is now also available with a Turbocharged Rotax 914 engine (CH-7Bt) or as a tandem seat version (CH-7T - with Rotax 914).

This engine can maintain full maximum continuous power to 11,000 Ft and the Helicopter gross weight is increased to 450 Kgs.

The CH-7Bt is ideal for high density altitude ops and/or pilots to 110Kgs.

Like the many other various types of aircraft aircraft built by their owners under Australia, New Zealand, USA and Argentinean Civil Aviation Regulations, the person who builds this kit is determined as the manufacturer as they are required to build 51% of the project. Globally this is termed "the 51% rule"

Aircraft built under the 51% rule are required to be registered, maintained airworthy and operated by the owner as per the requirements of their country's Civil Aviation Regulator.

Prospective owners are encouraged to contact and join the Sport Aircraft Association in their country for any further information about the 51% rule.
